Pilar
Our founder and owner of Threading Concepts come from humble South American roots. She grew up in a quaint and charming town in the heart of Ecuador. Pilar left the place she called home in hopes of achieving the American Dream. She began her journey in the States by working in beauty retail and slowly made her way up to open up Threading Concepts in the Harlem Irving Plaza. Being a young immigrant and a single mom, PIlar never gave up and achieved all her goals. She is a professional cosmetologist with licenses in microblading, eyelash extensions, and is a certified makeup artist. Pilar loves to take new classes and keep up with the latest trends, styles, and services.
Jalpa Patel
Born and raised in India, Jalpa Patel came to Chicago and has been part of the Threading Concepts family for over 14 years with experience in the industry for over 20 years.. She is a certified cosmetologist and is licensed for eyelash lifting as well as eyelash extensions. Jalpa is a talented eyebrow specialist who can shape and tint anyone’s eyebrows to perfection. She also is an expert in a number of other services. Her favorite part of working at the salon is meeting new customers and taking the time to listen to each customer’s needs so that they walk out with a smile on their face.
Sunita Bansari
Sunita, a native Pakistanian, has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry and has been part of the Threading Concepts family for over 14 years. She has a license in cosmetology as well as in eyelash extensions. Sunita loves what she does because there are always new techniques and services to learn in order to stand out in a very competitive industry. With her dedicated study of various eyelash extension techniques, Sunita has become one of the most talented eyelash technicians we have. She always encourages her customers to try the lastest services and trends and loves to make her customers feel absolutely beautiful inside and out. The energy and enthusiasm she brings to the salon to make every customer’s experience satisfying.
Roma
Roma has over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry and has been working at Threading Concepts Salon for over 8 years. She is a certified cosmetologist with a license in eyelash extensions. She is a highly accomplished professional who offers a variety of services including eyebrows, full body waxing, eyelash extensions, and facials. What Roma enjoys most about working at Threading Concepts salon is getting to know her customers and slowly developing close relationships and trust. She always has engaging and fun conversations with her customers in order to create the most relaxing environment where anyone would feel as if they are at home.
Sweety Patel
If her name doesn’t give away her bubbly personality, then her beaming smile will. Our beloved Sweety Patel has been part of the Threading Concepts family for over 14 years and has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She is a professional Cosmetologist with licenses for microblading, eyelash lifting, and eyelash extensions. Sweety is a perfectionist when it comes to any detail-oriented services, and loves to make her customers feel good about themselves after coming into our salon. We are proud to say that Sweety is one of our most personable and dedicated staff members.
Richa
Richa, one of our newest additions, has been in the beauty industry for over ten years and has been working at Threading Concepts Salon for over five years. She is a fully licensed cosmetologist and is certified for eyelash extensions. She loves to work in a community of experienced professionals that always help her build upon the wide range of skills and knowledge she already has. Her eagerness to learn from others and her attention to detail are what makes her unique. Being one of our youngest members, Richa has a passion for new beauty trends and never fails to stay updated on the most popular styles. She always gives the best beauty tips to our customers.
